CSi Grocery Limited – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all purchases, transactions, and interactions with CSi Grocery Limited—whether made online at www.csigrocery.com or at any of our physical store locations (collectively, “the Company,” “we,” or “us”).
By accessing our website, placing an order, or shopping in-store, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable Nigerian laws and regulations.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to make purchases from CSi Grocery. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is true and accurate.
3. Intellectual Property
All materials—including logos, designs, product images, texts, and content—on www.csigrocery.com are owned or licensed by CSi Grocery Limited.
Reproduction, copying, or redistribution for commercial purposes without written consent is strictly prohibited under the Copyright Act 2022 (Nigeria).
4. Product Availability and Accuracy
We make every effort to ensure that product information, images, and pricing are accurate. However:
- Product descriptions may vary slightly due to packaging or manufacturer updates.
- Prices and availability may change without prior notice.
- CSi Grocery reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders containing typographical or pricing errors.
5. Orders and Payment
a. Online Purchases
Payments can be made securely through Paystack, Nomba, or other approved Nigerian payment gateways.
We do not store or have access to customers’ card details. All payments are encrypted and processed in accordance with CBN cashless policy and PCI DSS standards.
b. In-Store Purchases
Payments may be made via cash, POS, or transfer to our verified business account only.
All receipts must be issued and retained by the customer for record and verification.
c. Order Confirmation
An order confirmation email or receipt serves as proof of purchase. Orders may be declined if payment fails, stock is unavailable, or suspicious activity is detected.
6. Delivery and Collection
a. Delivery Options
CSI Grocery Limited offers two delivery options for customers:

Standard Delivery – Orders are delivered within 1–2 days for customers within Lagos and Ibadan, and 3–7 days for interstate deliveries via logistics partners (e.g., GIG Logistics).
Standard delivery fees apply based on distance and package weight. -
Express Delivery – Customers who wish to receive their orders faster can choose the Express Delivery option at checkout or in-store.
Express delivery attracts a higher fee than standard delivery, and delivery time is typically within 0–24 hours after confirmation (depending on distance and product availability).
Customers can choose either Standard or Express delivery during order placement, and the applicable delivery cost will be displayed before checkout.
b. Fees
Delivery fees depend on distance, delivery type (standard or express), order value, and package size. Free delivery promotions apply only when specifically announced by CSI Grocery Limited.
c. Failed Deliveries
If delivery fails due to an incorrect address, customer unavailability, or other preventable reasons, the order will be rescheduled, and an additional re-delivery fee may apply.
7. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
CSI Grocery Limited adheres to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) 2018.
- Items must be checked upon delivery or before leaving the store.
- Perishable goods (food, baby formula, dairy, etc.) cannot be returned once accepted.
- Non-perishable goods may be returned within 48 hours if defective, wrongly supplied, or expired—provided the original receipt and packaging are intact.
- Refunds will be processed within 5–10 working days through the same payment method used.
8. Promotions and Loyalty Programs
From time to time, CSI Grocery may offer discounts, coupon codes, or loyalty programs.
These offers:
- Are valid for a limited time only
- Cannot be combined with other promotions
- May be withdrawn at any time without notice
9. Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR 2019).
- Personal information (name, phone number, address, email) is used only for order fulfillment, communication, and customer service.
- We do not sell or share customer data with third parties without consent.
- Customers have the right to request data deletion or correction at any time by contacting customerhelp@csigrocery.com.
10. Product Liability and Warranties
CSI Grocery Limited supplies only original and quality-controlled goods.
However, we are not liable for:
- Allergic reactions due to undisclosed customer allergies
- Improper storage or use of products after purchase
- Damage caused by third-party logistics companies once goods are accepted by the carrier
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, CSI Grocery Limited shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or delays caused by events beyond its control (e.g., fuel scarcity, traffic, weather disruptions, or supplier delays).
Our total liability in any transaction will not exceed the purchase value of the goods involved.
12. Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless CSI Grocery Limited, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claim, loss, or damages arising from misuse of the website, store property, or breach of these Terms.
13. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt an amicable resolution first.
If unresolved within 14 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration in Lagos State, conducted under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.
The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding.
14. Termination and Suspension
CSI Grocery Limited reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to its services if:
- Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity is detected
- Payment disputes arise
- The customer breaches these Terms
15. Amendments
We may update or modify these Terms periodically. Any changes will be posted on www.csigrocery.com and take effect immediately upon publication.
Customers will be notified of significant updates via email or SMS.
16. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State.
